Connection setup
The ABR connector is platform-managed - no credentials required on your side. Demiton maintains the API registration centrally. Browse and pin ABR datasets from the Open Data Catalog (/hq-platform/catalog for platform administrators, or query the curated set on Insights+).
Example queries via MCP
Once connected through the MCP server, you can ask Claude:
- “Is [Supplier Name] GST-registered? What’s their entity type?”
- “Look up ABN 12 345 678 901 - what is this entity?”
- “Which of our vendors have cancelled ABNs?”

Security
Access type: Read-only (public data)
The ABR exposes publicly available business registry data. All data retrieved is publicly accessible - no private or sensitive information is involved. No credentials are required or stored on your account.
