OC4IDS - the Open Contracting for Infrastructure Data Standard - structures the delivery half of Civil Memory: the infrastructure project record for work you’ve won and are delivering, or have delivered. Where OCDS covers the public, pre-award side of a job, OC4IDS picks up at the award seam and covers everything after.
What does OC4IDS cover in Demiton?
Section titled “What does OC4IDS cover in Demiton?”Once a delivery project exists inside Projects and Memory - live operational data from your own ERP, field ops, and payroll systems - OC4IDS is the shape that data is designed to take when it is reported back out: project scope, cost, schedule, and outcome, structured the way government clients and the broader infrastructure sector can consume.
The One-Way Valve holds; emission is forthcoming
Section titled “The One-Way Valve holds; emission is forthcoming”Your day-to-day operational memory - site diaries, allocations, payroll reconciliations - is never exposed as a side effect of simply existing in the platform. That is the One-Way Valve. The half of it that exists today is snapshot publication: one service is the only code permitted to write a published snapshot, and it validates the OC4IDS projection against the schema and codelists before it persists. The other half - a contractor-initiated, consented, audited emission of one project’s delivery data to one government client - is not built yet. The workflow that stages OC4IDS facts is explicitly staging only, and the EmissionConsent model has no production call site. Until it ships there is no emission you can trigger, so no per-project delivery record leaves your tenant at all.
