Uses dual protocol support - OCDS v1 (Open Contracting Data Standard) for structured contract data, and RSS v2 for live tender feeds. Pagination is handled automatically.

Registers this connector fills

AusTender keeps 2 registers current in Civil Memory. Each name is the record you ask for, not the system it came from - ask for it in Studio or from your own AI client.

Platform tender

The full field list, requiredness and an example record for any register are on its published contract. Where more than one system fills a register, the register is the same shape either way.

The adapter reads AusTender over two protocols: OCDS v1 for structured contract data and RSS v2 for live tender feeds. Responses are normalised before they enter the workflow runtime, and pagination is handled by the adapter.

No credentials are required - AusTender is a public API and Demiton maintains the registration centrally. There is nothing to configure on your side.

Once connected through the MCP server, you can ask Claude:

  • “Show me federal road contracts awarded in Queensland over $5M in the last 12 months.”
  • “Which agencies are the top spenders on earthworks and civil construction?”
  • “Has [Supplier Name] been awarded any government contracts in the last two years?”
