Registers this connector fills

Bureau of Meteorology keeps 1 register current in Civil Memory. Each name is the record you ask for, not the system it came from - ask for it in Studio or from your own AI client.

The full field list, requiredness and an example record for any register are on its published contract. Where more than one system fills a register, the register is the same shape either way.

The adapter calls the Bureau of Meteorology’s public weather API. Location search resolves a place to a geohash, which the observation, forecast and warning resources then use.

No credentials are required - the Bureau of Meteorology API is public and Demiton maintains the registration centrally.

Once connected through the MCP server, you can ask Claude:

  • “What were the weather conditions at the Cunningham Gap site last month?”
  • “Were there any weather warnings active during the week of 10 March for postcode 4000?”
  • “What is the forecast for our Morningside site this week?”
  • “How many wet-weather days did we have at Burringbar in Q1?”

On Connected tier, weather data can be correlated directly against site diary entries from Assignar - ask “Which days did weather delays get recorded in site diaries and what were the BOM conditions?”

Access type: Read-only (public data)

The Bureau of Meteorology provides publicly available weather data. No credentials are required or stored. No private or organisation-specific data is involved.

  • MCP Server - connect Claude or ChatGPT to query BOM data directly
  • Assignar - correlate weather conditions against site diaries on Connected tier
  • Sign up for Insights - overlay weather data against your uploaded project timelines
  • Connect your operation - live BOM correlation against Assignar site diaries on Connected tier
