Platform evidence standard

Platform evidence standard is one of Demiton's published registers for Australian civil construction. Demiton keeps it current from the systems a contractor already runs and publishes the record's shape as a versioned JSON Schema, so the same question works whichever system produced the record.

Connected today

Demiton keeps this register current from these systems now.

No system fills this register yet.

On the roadmap

Systems in the planned connector rollout that can fill this register. Partial means the system holds only some of its fields.

None planned yet.

Fields

20 fields: 10 required, 10 optional.

Required

Every record carries these fields.

How the standard is measured: a cadence (periodic), a window after an anchor event (event_bound), a retention period (retention) or a standing condition (state)

One of periodic, event_bound, retention, state

How close to the source the reading was.

One of primary_read, primary_via_secondary, secondary, demiton_default

Stable id of the standard, e.g. payment.schedule_due.au-qld; the supersede key with source_version

source_clauseText

The clause, section or paragraph.

anchorGroup of fields

For event_bound: the register and field whose value starts the clock, and a one-line description of the event.

caveatText

What bounds the standard: an amendment that may change it, a paywalled text read second-hand, a regional exception.

source_urlText

A resolvable link to the source text, or to the reliable secondary that quotes it.

window_unitText

Unit of window_value; business and working days follow the governing statute or contract definition.

One of hours, days, business_days, working_days, months

research_rowText

The row id in the research record this standard was transcribed from (e.g. L2, NP5)

window_valueNumber

The cadence or window length in window_unit; null when the source says only 'promptly' or 'as soon as practicable'.

register_matchGroup of fields

Equality predicate on that register selecting the evidence, e.g. {"notice_kind": "latent_condition"}

source_versionText

The edition or legislation version date read.

minimum_contentList

The fields the evidence record must carry to count, as the source lists them.

window_source_fieldText

The contract_terms field whose value overrides window_value when the contract states its own window.

Use this contract

The contract is a standard JSON Schema (draft 2020-12) document, so any JSON Schema validator can check a record against it. Keywords starting with x-demiton- add Demiton's own meaning, such as units and requiredness, and validators ignore them.
