How do I find and win Queensland road contracts?
You get the Queensland forward procurement pipeline, public tender notices from AusTender and the state portals, and published award history in one place, matched against your prequalification standing. Be clear about what this is: there is no TMR-specific tender feed. Queensland road work reaches Demiton through the Queensland Forward Procurement Pipeline (QLD_FPP) as planning notices, and through published contract disclosures as awards.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- Tier: Public for published awards; Insights for the forward programme, open tenders and market intelligence
- Systems: None to connect. This is free public data, populated for every organisation on day one
- You supply: Your prequalification schemes, NPS classifications, jurisdictions and contract-value bands
Declare your standing on the Prequalification surface, or ask us to load it for you.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- HARVEST. A scheduled platform harvest sweep runs daily and dispatches one fetch per source. Tender and planning data is normalised to OCDS before it lands, so a notice means the same thing whichever portal it came from.
- Record the registers. Queensland and national road work appears on these registers, with the source recorded on every record:
platform_planning- forward programme and works-to-tender notices. The Queensland source isQLD_FPP(the Queensland Forward Procurement Pipeline), alongsideNSW_INFRA_PIPELINE,ANZIP,AER_DETERMINATIONSandNSW_ETENDER.platform_tender- open tender notices. Federal work comes fromAUSTENDER; the other sources are the state and territory portals (NSW_ETENDER,VIC_TENDERS,SA_TENDERS,WA_TENDERS,TAS_TENDERS,TENDERLINK,VENDOR_PANEL,WESTERN_POWER).QLD_FPPis not a tender source.platform_award- awarded contracts, fromAUSTENDERandOPENCONTRACTAU. The opencontractau dataset includes the Queensland TMR contract disclosure series, so published TMR awards appear here.platform_prequal- contractor status on government prequalification registers, including the Queensland TMR scheme. It is written by thePLATFORM_PREQUAL_REGISTERtransformer from the platform’s prequalification harvest.bid_no_bid_verdict- a verdict for an open tender, weighing your prequalifications and certifications against its requirements.
- GOVERN. Platform planning and tender facts are gated. Reads require a registered account; they are not served to anonymous callers.
- Match to your standing. Your declared NPS classifications and scheme registrations become facts your AI client can reason over, so eligibility can be checked against a package’s value and scope.
See the published contracts for platform_planning, platform_tender, platform_award and platform_prequal.
What you can ask
Section titled “What you can ask”- “What Queensland road packages are in the forward programme for the next financial year, and when are they expected to tender?”
- “Which Queensland TMR contracts were awarded in the last twelve months, and to whom?”
- “Which open road tenders are we eligible for, given our NPS R and F classifications?”
- “Who are our most frequent competitors for Queensland road work by value?”
- “What work is coming to tender in Queensland over the next two quarters above $10 million?”
What it does not do
Section titled “What it does not do”- There is no TMR-specific tender integration.
QLD_FPPis a planning and forward-programme source, not a live TMR tender feed, and AusTender is the federal source. If a TMR tender is only published on a TMR page, Demiton will not see it. Treat Queensland tender coverage as incomplete for that reason. - Award data is published history, not a bid pipeline.
platform_awardshows what has already been awarded, including the disclosed TMR contract series. It does not predict what TMR will release next. - Prequalification is self-declared today. Matching your declared schemes against the official register is on the roadmap, not built. Declared is not the same as confirmed - see Prequalification.
- It does not create projects that were never tendered. A delivery project is born from a win at the award seam; see Projects.
- It does not decide bid/no-bid. It assembles the eligibility picture; the commercial call is yours.
