Demiton

Non-compliance

The numbers are 90, 30 and 7: the days before a certificate expires that Demiton counts down to, with the renewal attached. A public liability certificate, a prequalification, an operator’s ticket - each has an expiry date sitting in a filing system, and each belongs to somebody whose real job is something else. The office manager renews what lands on their desk. The certificate that expires is the one nobody put on the desk. The cost is rarely the fine. It is the tender the firm was not allowed to bid, or the machine that stood idle because its operator’s ticket lapsed on a Tuesday. Non-compliance ranks last on measured cost. What nobody has measured is the work the firm was no longer allowed to do.

What it is
The right to bid itself: panels, prequalification, certificates.
Also called
Lapsed compliance, on demiton.io and in sales material.
The protection
Every expiry counts down at 90, 30 and 7 days, with the renewal attached.
Running today
Your schemes, classifications and certificate expiry dates are one register you declare once. Company certificate and insurance expiries already count down at 90, 30 and 7 days, with the alert in the app and by email; the countdown has fired end to end in a demo tenant, not yet on a live job.

Every non-compliance verdict is filed under one of five causes: how far the record got before it failed.

CauseWhat it covers
PeopleWho is on site and what they hold: tickets, high-risk work licences, construction induction cards, site inductions, a ticket that does not cover the task in hand.
PlantWhat is running on site: registration, inspection certificates, daily prestarts, the wrong plant category for the work.
InsuranceWhat covers the job: public liability, workers' compensation, contract works, a policy whose territory or limit does not reach this job.
CompanyWhat the business holds: its contractor licence, prequalification and its conditions, WHS and quality accreditation.
SiteWhat the job itself requires: permits to work, traffic management plans, environmental conditions, the asbestos register.

The non-compliance check runs once the organisation holds:
